The next members meeting of the Sevenoaks Conservative Policy Forum will discuss Artificial Intelligence (AI)
AI has been discussed by computer scientists since the 1950s but has achieved little, despite the billions of pounds spent on research, and the thousands of books and papers written about it. Is it a cold-war myth? Or is it finally about to deliver benefits?
What benefits could it deliver? And who stands to gain from these benefits? Which sectors of the economy are most vulnerable to AI unemployment? Which government services could be improved by AI? Are the risks of AI greater than the potential benefits?
If you have a view on AI, or if you just want to hear from others, please sign up for our next meeting, which will take on Thursday 20th July at 8pm
Email [email protected] if you would like to attend.
Alternatively, feel free to email your thoughts, and a selection of these submissions will be read at the meeting
