Cllr Alan Cheeseman was pleased to report that a pilot scheme for 'smart bins' has seen installation in the Riverside area of Eynsford.
Cllr Cheeseman reported that Riverside suffers from dreadful littering on warm sunny weekends with bins becoming so full they overflow. The new bins have a larger capacity and automatically notify the Cleaning Department of the need for collection.
