At both national and local level, the Conservative Party takes planning very seriously.
To help our Conservative councillors reach the best decisions regarding important planning applications they would appreciate local Conservative residents contributing to consultations on larger development debates, such as that for a large site on the south side of Lime Tree Walk and the possible development of several large developments fronting onto the High Street and in the Conservation Area.
Looking back, our Conservative councillors would have welcomed members’ contributions to the debates about the applications for the town centre Tesco site, the Bradbourne car park and the Premier Inn developments, to name some recent ones.

Your contributions would help to inform and balance the debate and could well result in improved decisions.
