Dear Member,
Next week Tuesday, 5th May at 6pm, our Member of Parliament, Laura Trott MBE MP, is taking part in a ZOOM National Conservative Policy Forum discussion alongside a leading economist, environmentalist and No.10 advisor, Dr Ben Caldecott and the National Chair of the Conservative Women's Organisation, Fleur Butler.
The discussion is on:
“In a post Covid-19 world, is GDP fit for purpose” with the quote from Joseph Stiglitz as the frame of reference “GDP is not a good measure of economic performance, it's not a good measure of wellbeing”
And you can take part from the comfort of your own armchair in the discussion, which will take place on ZOOM.
It is being organised and chaired by our own Anna Firth who, as some of you may know, has recently been elected as the National Director of the Conservative Policy Forum.
