Investors in People is an organisation that leads the drive for better leadership and better workplaces. It is an independent, not for profit company that assesses thousands of organisations every three years, and recognises those that lead, support and manage people well, for sustainable results.

The report highlights the creativity and innovation of the council with our focus on delivering continuous improvement and improving customer service across the organisation. We are justly proud of our weekly rubbish and recycling collections; the only District in Kent to do so!"
