Author of more than 50 books, he has made numerous expeditions to the Himalaya, the Caucasus Mountains of Russia, Peruvian Andes, the European Alps, Pyrenees and Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

SUPPER Meat course:
Fillet of Pork Tenderloin. wrapped in Palma Ham with Sage, a hint of Garlic,
on a bed of Apple Purée and Red Wine jus and served with Rosemary
Roasted Potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Forest Mushrooms sautéed with Shallots and fresh Herbs rolled in a fresh pancake
drizzled with Mornay sauce and baked. Served with Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

In A Walk in the Clouds he takes us to some of his favourite places, tells of his adventures and mishaps, and introduces us to some of the colourful characters he has met along the way.
When booking, please indicate whether you prefer a vegetarian (V) meal and if you would like cheese and biscuits (C & B) instead of dessert. The choices cannot be made on the night. If you are unsure of your order, the choices you made will be available from Alan Milnes. Alan will also give you a “V” or “C & B” label to display for the benefit of the waiters, if these were your choices.
