A smart new business for Hextable was officially opened by Michael Fallon MP at a ribbon cutting ceremony which was attended by local councillors, senior representatives from Barclays Bank, suppliers and customers.
They were there to celebrate the arrival of AK Barbers which opened in early June. The new barber’s shop is run by Kevin Reid who has worked in hairdressing for 20 years most recently at a Turkish barbers in Dartford.
Kevin said: ‘I have been looking for the right premises to start my business for some time and when this site in Hextable came up I knew it was right.
“I have always loved Hextable and it’s a great opportunity to work in a close-knit community.”
Michael said: ‘Kevin has shown great commitment and determination in realising his business ambition. Hextable residents will welcome his talent and experience. The new shop is a great addition to the village and will help the local economy.”
