Sevenoaks Conservative Association thought you ought to know the latest on the Sevenoaks Townwide 20mph limit proposals.
The Joint Transportation Board (JTB) at Sevenoaks District Council has agreed that Sevenoaks Town Council run and fund a second public consultation on the Townwide 20mph limit proposals.
The results of the consultation will go to the JTB, who will decide what changes, if any, will be requested from the highways authority, Kent County Council.
The new proposal covers a smaller area than the original proposal for a Townwide 20mph zone put forward last year, which was opposed by most residents in a formal consultation sponsored by Kent County Council.
You can register your views by going to the Sevenoaks Town Council website www.sevenoakstown.gov.uk. Hard copies of the survey will be delivered to homes within Sevenoaks Town through the Town Crier newsletter. A copy is attached for your information.
The consultation is now open and closes on the 14th of December.
