Sevenoaks Conservatives reshuffle top team to deliver for our District
Sevenoaks Conservatives will be making some changes to the Cabinet at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Council.
Cllr Roddy Hogarth will be proposed as Leader, with Cllr Julia Thornton taking up the Development and Conservation Cabinet Role. Cllr Perry Cole will also remain as Deputy Leader for Housing and Health; Cllr Kevin Maskell as Cabinet Member for Finance and Cllr Lesley Dyball for People and Places. Joining the new team, Cllr Michael Horwood will take on the Improvement and Innovation cabinet role, and Cllr Irene Roy will become the Cabinet Member for Cleaner and Greener.
The new team will be focussed on delivering the Council’s ambitions around regeneration and economic development across the District, protecting the weekly refuse collection, and delivering a Local Plan, to ensure planning decisions are made locally, rather than with national Planning Inspectors.
