As you know, Sevenoaks District Council and Sevenoaks Town Council are going to the polls this week in our local elections. Some people don't view local elections as being that important, but who controls our local Councils determines everything from our level of Council Tax to local services such as our weekly refuse and recycling collections.
The Liberal Democrats are trying to win control of both Councils. They’ve proved in the past that they can’t be trusted to spend the Councils’ budgets wisely, nor can they be trusted to keep our valued weekly refuse collections. Their proposal to turn our valued Sevenoaks war memorial into a one way system is just testament to some of the things they could do if they win.
Please use your vote wisely this Thursday, 4th May. Every vote counts, and here at Sevenoaks Conservatives we take nothing for granted.
If you choose to give us your vote, we pledge to keep working hard to keep our district safe, clean and a great place to live.
Your support on Thursday would be greatly appreciated. Please remember you must take photo ID such as a passport or driving licence to the polling station, even if they have expired. There are also other forms of ID available here: https://www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/info/20053/elections_and_voting/702/voter_id_at_elections
Thank you from all of us at Sevenoaks Conservatives.
