Appeal Dismissed : Update on the Broke Hill Planning Appeal
Conservative led Sevenoaks District Council today heard that the planning appeal against refusal of planning permission for a large development in the Green Belt by Quinn Estates had been dismissed by the Governments Planning Inspectorate.
The developers plans for this site had already been through the planning committee at Sevenoaks District Council Conservative Councillors had thrown it out, the developer then decided to appeal this decision.
The Planning Inspector agreed with the council’s planning committee opinion that this is a vital Green belt site and despite other pressures being faced by the council they had been right in their decision to refuse this application and to fight this appeal.
Thanks go to the team Sevenoaks District Council who took this through the appeal process and those local groups and individuals who supported the councils case.
