Speeding on our residential streets has been a major issue for many years past. Residents were rightly looking for action to be taken, particularly with so many schools in the area.
Margaret Crabtree, KCC member for Sevenoaks Town division has been working with local residents and schools, and using funding through KCC Members Grant Fund has financed the necessary speed surveys, lining and signing..
The hard work has paid off and Margaret has been able to deliver 20mph zones and safer streets in and around the roads surrounding Sevenoaks and St John's Primary Schools, Walthamstow Hall Senior and Junior Schools and The Granville.
